The Liquid Facelift Procedure

The liquid facelift technique employs a combination of dermal injectables and BOTOX® Cosmetic. The rejuvenating effect is obtained by filling facial folds as well as relaxing lines caused by smiling, frowning, and other repeated facial expressions. This restores natural facial contours and thus the appearance of youth. The procedure does involve multiple injection sites and may result in some swelling or bruising, but most patients at our Sacramento practice return to their normal routines the day following liquid facelift treatment.

During treatment, BOTOX® Cosmetic can be used to soften lines on the forehead, creases between the brows, and crow's feet around the eyes. Volume replacement is performed using one or a combination of dermal injectables to fill in grooves around the mouth and eyes and to enhance the cheek area.

The effect of BOTOX® Cosmetic will last several months, while the volume replacement may last up to a year. Results may be prolonged by the use of "booster injections" when needed.
